An illustrated book for North Parade Publishing

Working on the Cinderella pop-up book

Recently I've started working on an exciting new project: a pop-up illustrated book of Cinderella, to be published by an English publisher: North Parade Publishing.
This thrilling challenge requires all illustrations to be designed to become three-dimensional, and for this, I must thank the publisher's pop-up engineer I'm collaborating with, Laura Garner. Her expertise has been invaluable, and I'm learning so much from her.

Cinderella is an iconic childhood story for many, and I still remember the illustrations in my fairy tale book when I was a child. Tackling such a classic is an honor and a joy. I'm putting a lot of effort into the characters, aiming to make them original and completely different from the Disney cartoon, with a touch of irony and humor that characterizes my illustrations.

I don't yet know the release date of the book, but I can't wait to flip through it and see my figures pop out of the pages.
