Shackleton's first voyage

This is the first of a series of illustrations created for the Christmas issue of Storytime, a British magazine filled with children's classic and new stories.
I worked on a story about Sir Ernest Shackleton, one of the most famous explorers of the Icy continents. The story tells about Shakleton's childhood and his first embarkment, earlier than the famous Endurance expedition to Antarctica. The story is published in a section called "Awesome adventures", which collects tales from children before they were famous, to encourage children to follow their dreams.
