I didn'expect... the extintion of dinosaurs

This illustration was painted for Lucca Junior - "Livio Sossi" Illustration Award, at Lucca Comics & Games 2022. The illustration is based on the text written by Angelo Mozzillo, "Non mi aspettavo" (i.e. I didn't exect). The drawing features a small dinosaur playing under the unexpectedly bright sun. The little dinosaur does not notice that a tiny bright star has also appeared in the sky: it is the meteorite about to cause the mass extinction of its species...
