Halloween at the Witches' Market

A Fantasy Journey is the project of an illustrated calendar. The protagonist, Max, travels through fantasy worlds and each month he meets different fabulous creatures. October is the coolest month to visit the Witches' Market and appreciate its spooky atmosphere. Max is looking for Halloween decorations and souvenirs and he finds there a wide selection of pumpkins, poisonous mushrooms, spiders and other creepy creatures, moving skeletons (non for sell, unfortunately), witch hats and flying brooms, worms and much more. This illustration, along with the project, was submitted to The Illustrator of the Year competition for Città del Sole calendar. [2020]
