The Little Mermaid and the Sea Witch

Selected at Notte di Fiaba 2018

This illustration was selected and exhibited at the Fifth International Illustration Competition "Notte di Fiaba". The illustration shows the Little Mermaid and the Sea Witch and it is based on this text, inspired by Andersen's fairy tale:

"The grandmother didn't like that idea and she scolded the Little Mermaid, who went off towards the border zone of the realm with her tail between her legs.
Here she got to the Sea Witch's home and the witch immediately went to meet her.
"Gosh! What do you want from me?" the Little Mermaid asked.
"Nothing, actually it's you who entered my garden."
They both laughed and they became friends at once.
