Kidlit for Climate

The campaign of illustrators and authors for climate justice

#KidLit4Climate is a campaign on social media created by Emma Reynolds to stand in solidarity with the young people striking from school for urgent climate action. It aims to support and amplify the message of #FridaysForFuture and the related protest movements inspired by Greta Thunberg.
Illustrators could take part by drawing a character holding up a sing with the hashtag #kidlit4clicamte included. The campaign was shared on Twitter and Instagram with thousands of partecipants. My illustration depicts a polar bear, a lemur and a sea turtle. Such species are three of the many endangered by the climate change. [2019]
